Dr. Pulak Dhar served as a Medical Officer and MD (Radiation Oncology) student at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) from 2015 to 2021. He is currently working as a Junior Connsultant in Radiation Oncology at Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital, Uttara.

Key clinical expertise includes:

• Evaluation and management of solid malignancies
• Designing and executing radiotherapy treatment plans with precision techniques (IMRT, 3DCRT)
• Chemotherapy administration, dose modification, and adverse effect management
• Acute oncologic emergency management (e.g., spinal cord compression, SVC syndrome)
• Patient counseling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up
• Palliative care including pain management, end-of-life care, and quality-of-life improvement

Previously, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Physiology at JIMCH and AWMCH from 2012 to 2014. He completed his Internship at JIMCH from 2011 to 2012, and also held the position of Indoor Medical Officer at Eden MultiCare Hospital earlier in their career.
